About the studio
Longwave Studio has been in the old telephone exchange since 2015. Two live rooms, an edit suite and four people who have made more than fourteen hundred episodes between them. Some of the shows are ours. Most belong to someone else.

Nina Oduya asks editors and directors what they would change if they could go back. Amara Osei brought two answers and a timecode for each.
Second Take records in Studio B with a live video feed, so the show ships as audio and as clips on the same day.
How it was made
Two hosts, two cameras, four microphones, one engineer in the control room. Multitrack files and a rough cut go out the same evening; the finished episode follows within three working days.
The clips are pulled during the session rather than after it. When something lands in the room, the engineer marks it, and the marks become the shortlist.
If you want video from day one, say so at the booking stage. Studio B is set up for it; Studio A is not.
